Our version of the Appalachian dulcimer in guitar form. We start with a neck through design with a truss rod, cut and bend our sides and attach them to the neck. We then cut our back and soundboards and install hand carved spruce braces and cut our sound hole designs. attach our back and sound board. we then cut and attach our custom cut diatonic fretboard and install the frets. we then hand carve our neck and install our strings in our string though body design which creates extra sustain and tune it to D A DD tuning. Being diatonic all of the notes go together so there are no wrong notes. we built and sold all 3 of them this year and we are going to start to build more soon.
